About Me

I hold both a Masters and Bachelors of Science in Digital Media from Drexel University and I am currently an Assistant Teaching Professor of Digital Media at Drexel. I knew growing up that our country was constantly evolving in a technological capacity and those that could understand and speak the language of new media would be able to captivate and inspire more audiences. How we design, how we inform and how we entertain are all ways we sustain and pass on our culture.

I have worked as a 3D modeler, animator, and flash developer for the Walt Disney Company. Walt Disney built his parks around entertaining to educate, and I hoped to practice my craft in that environment. I worked for the Walt Disney Company designing rides, environments, and walk-throughs, entertaining and educating the millions of guests that came to our parks each year. From developing storylines and accompanying visuals, I worked to speak to the heart of every child and parent.

From Disney, I went back to teach my craft at Drexel University. I found that the only way to foster creative design growth was to teach students about my experiences and for them to begin to think and design outside the box.

Currently my interest in research is in the area of rapid prototyping and new display technology. I have a couple of ideas that I am working with so I will post updates when they become available.  

With education through new media as my passion, I keep abreast of my field in technology as a volunteer for the largest computer graphics conference in the world, Siggraph. This year I was appointed the Associate Show Floor producer for the entire exhibition. So if you happen to head out to New Orleans this year, be sure so say hi.

What do I do?

I love working and researching in 3D. Whether it is architectural visualizations, concept work, animations, and effects, I am always up for a challenge and a chance to refine my skills. Be sure to find a pare of red blue 3D glasses so you can experiece "The Bride of The Insect King."

I have had the opportunity to work in the area of motion graphics, graphic design, and photography, so you’ll find some examples of these.

I also have a background in web development and Flash. So browse around and enjoy some interactivity.
